Purchased dr500we and a trw5003wn on Nov 29 2024 delivered on Nov 30th . On Dec 30 2024 both washer and dryer were not working. The sales team said that speed gueen was the most dependable washer and dryer manufactured that is why they are so expensive but worth it. I would strongly disagree. I would not recommend this brand to anyone i would advise them not to purchase a speed queen.

Agitation is horrible

Extremely unhappy with the agitation feature on this machine. When I watched the agitation on this machine it never moved the jeans around or ever pulled them under water. This expensive washer does the same thing as the cheaper washers. I would rather have an older washer that actually washed clothes with good agitation that pulled clothes down and rotated clothes and had plenty of water instead of all the water regulations they put on new washers.

I have used Speed Queen in my past whenever I needed a laundromat. I have bought 2 machines of other brands, and they did not perform well. I finally said enough, let's buy what always impressed me at the laundromats of past. I barely hear my new Speed Queen running, it is so durable, quiet, and I notice my clothes are cleaner looking! I am not exaggerating; this is the best machine I have ever purchased. I can relax when I barely hear it spinning, as opposed to the other machines that I had to run to in order to stop the rumba they were doing across the floor! Huge difference from other brands!

The first thing we noticed is that our water pipes are no longer slamming when the washer is filling, which was really annoying. Overall the machine just seems better built and sturdy, no more noisy or vibrating spin cycle. Our clothes are also cleaner. The previous washer had a larger tub and did not fill with enough water to wash all of the cloths so we really like the smaller but way more efficient capacity size.

Dont like the short wash cycles

So far the wash is ok, but I don't like the short wash cycles. Perm press is only about 10 minutes, heavy duty is about 19-20. I have watched videos online and wash cycles are longer than mine. I hate the lid lock, I have had to check the water level on auto and pretend to add clothes to add water on large loads because only the bottom half of the load is in water. That's no better than my front load. Using long cycles and full tub the wash has gotten stains out, like blood, so that's been good. I really want to love this machine, but am still on the fence. When I saw cycles at 19 minutes I thought that meant it washed 19 minutes. Not true. That's starts the moment the water turns on until it spins out. Very deceiving.
