The Bosch is extremely quiet as promised, but I've had dishwashers that had better outcomes with dirty dishes. I didn't realize I would give up cleanliness for quietness. I'm also disappointed that one cannot open the dishwasher to add a dish without necessitating a restart. Maybe I am wrong about this, but if so, then the instructions need to be more complete to explain how to do it. I waited a very long time for this dishwasher, and I expected more.

Cleaned well until electronics quit

This is the most quiet dishwasher I have been around. It cleaned well for two years until the electronics suddenly quit mid-cycle. This Bosch dishwasher gets high marks for being quiet and cleaning well, but VERY low marks for reliability. It has been difficult to find a Bosch repair serviceperson for our area that is slightly remote.

Beautiful washer but doesn't like aluminum

This dishwasher is unbelievably quiet and I love the third rack for utinsels. However, now I am handwashing any aluminum item because it so discolors it.
